First time I've been on livejournal since I moved. Alot of things have happened.

- School is fantastic. Ahead in all my classes.
- Adam moved in and we're assembling an amazing pad.
- Finally got cable and the internet, hence the update.
- Work schedule has changed to first shift to accomdate school schedule.
- Paid 25% down on a lawaway program for a KORG D1600 Digital Recording Station.
- Purchased a futon.
- Adam's dad brought over an sweet entertainment center.

I just got an apartment, I am moving next week. It's about a mile away from UofL and close to the Rudyard Kipling. That's right, I am going to be living on 4th Street next to one of friends/co-workers. The whole reason I am moving is to be closer to school and work. I am really excited with everything that is happening. So, drop me a line and let's get this party started.

Good Weekend

Another good weekend. Friday I came home with my cabinet and head, then went to bed. Woke up at 8:30 the next day and waited for Andy to come over, so we can play. Then we went over to visit Travis. It was fun, we watched Superjoint Ritual live sets with him for about two hours. After that, We ate sushi and fried rice, then I hung out with Danielle. Sunday consisted of absolutely nothing great, but I did manage to sleep for 12 hours straight. Now, it's Monday morning and I am listening to Thrones. I had a dream I had my Wisdom Teeth taken out and I was not at work. I need to get them extracted soon.

Exceptional Weekend

This weekend was awesome. I just bought an Ampeg VH140c from Josh and a ESP M-50. I learned some Death Cab songs. And, right now, I am in the process of learning John Coltrane's Giant Steps. It's going to be really hard, but I hope to learn it all, at least the chords. If I learn it all, I might have a chance to get into Bellarmine for Jazz, but I am really set on working for a Arts Administration degree. My date went well. It was nice to feel again and share time with someone. I am not saying it's a relationship, but it was a good date and there's a possibility I will hang out with her again. Hanging out with Andy kicked ass Saturday. Red Chord shredded and made me want to become a better musician.

It was nice seeing Jackie at the show. I've always thought of her as a little sister in a way after the apartment bullshit and seeing how she got through it at a young age.

Things are going really well for me, for once. I have my head on straight. I stopped drinking so much and usually just have a beer now and again. Smoking? I am still working on that. I am just really happy about the things happening around me. It's like the stars are aligning perfectly in the universe or some really bad astrologic poetry.

Lately, I have been just happy for once with just about everything going on. I am going to an earlier shift at work. I am going to hang out with Andy this weekend and watch the Red Chord. I am paying off debts quickly and concentrating on going to school at Bellarmine. I think I have really laid out a good plan and it will pay off. I got a date soon. 2006 is my fucking year.
